About This Archive

Alpha Processor, Inc. (later API NetWorks) designed Alpha 21264-based motherboards, chipsets and system logic between 1999 and 2002 — the UP1000 and UP2000 boards, and a run of press releases and partner pages that went with them.

The original alpha-processor.com went offline years ago. Every page on this site — product pages, press releases, support pages, partner listings — has been recovered from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine and republished at its exact original address, extension and all.

Why restore it

Early-2000s systems documentation and press material tends to disappear once a company folds or a domain lapses, taking a small piece of computing history with it. This archive exists to keep that record readable and reachable rather than locked inside Wayback Machine capture pages.

What this is not

This is a reference archive, not an active commercial site. Alpha Processor, Inc. and API NetWorks are not being operated as a business here; nothing on this site is for sale, and no new products or services are offered under that name.

Browsing the archive

Every restored page is listed at /posts, and the same list is available as an XML sitemap. Pages are served at their original pre-restoration URLs wherever one is on record, so old bookmarks and links keep working.
